Mad Games Tycoon komt naar de Switch

Je moet toch èrgens beginnen!

Mad Games Tycoon is écht al jaren op de markt. De game is namelijk al sinds 2016 beschikbaar op Steam. De game is, naar mijn weten, dan ook nooit echt relevant genoeg geweest voor een plekje in de bibliotheek van de consoles van tegenwoordig. Daar komt nu echter verandering in!

Toplitz Productions heeft onlangs aangekondigd dat Mad Games Tycoon binnenkort speelbaar zal zijn op consoles als de Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 en Xbox One. De game zal, als alles naar zijn gangetje verloopt, releasen op 12 november.

Er is, ziende de naderende releasedatum, ook alvast een trailer vrijgegeven. De trailer laat echter niet veel meer zien dan we al wisten. Deze zal dus vooral van pas komen als je nog nooit van de game had gehoord.

Aspiring studio heads will do more than just play games all day, as they’ll need to manage day-to-day logistics – including hiring new programming talent and renting office space – and then craft games everyone will want to play. As business booms, they’ll need to think about building their own game engines, cutting licensing deals, and even creating next-generation consoles.

Mad Games Tycoon challenges players to go from a garage-based two-person game development team to a mega-business based not only on games but engine development and console creation! Aspiring development superstars will need to hire the right people to craft amazing games, while handling all the logistics of a real-world studio, from making deals to license the hottest IPs, to renting the right-sized office space for a growing super-studio.”

Mad Games Tycoon zal vanaf 12 november beschikbaar zijn in de Nintendo eShop. De game zal, gebaseerd op de prijs op Steam, €14.99,- gaan kosten.
