Glitch in Smash Bros laat je met 8 characters tegelijk spelen

Altijd al 8-player Smash in je eentje willen spelen? Een onlangs ontdekte glitch maakt het mogelijk.

Reddit user Gluetendo heeft de glitch ontdekt. Om in je eentje 8 characters te besturen heb je 8 amiibo nodig alsmede een controller die je kunt synchroniseren. Door enkele stappen uit te voeren (in specifieke volgorde) op het character select scherm  in 8 -Player Smash , zal je in staat om met maximaal 8 vechters tegelijk te spelen. Bovendien kunnen twee of meer spelers deze truc uitvoeren om bijvoorbeeld 4 op 4 gevechten te spelen. Hoe je dit exact voor elkaar kan krijgen staat hieronder beschreven. Daaronder zie je een video waarin 8 keer Ganondorf wordt bestuurd

1. Have 8 amiibo.
2. Use a controller that can “desync” (a GameCube controller preferably).
3. Go to the 8-Player Smash mode.
4. Just move your joystick until the “Player #” or port space pops up.
5. Click the name part of your port until it says “None”.
6. Remove your controller from the port or desync it.
7. Scan your amiibo.
8. Plug your shit back in.
9. Move your joystick again and now you will be the Player in the next available space after your scanned amiibo. Nothing out of the ordinary, but trust me, it’s working.
10. Repeat Steps 5-9 until all the Player spaces are filled with the 8 amiibo.
11. Go to the Settings (where Time or Stock and Item rules are). Then simply exit.
12. Enjoy controlling 8 characters simultaneously!
